## Final Exams — Find Your Class

**A Block**: exam on Chapter 1-3, and 5

**B Block: **investigation on Chapter 4 and 7

**D Block: **investigation on Chapters 4 and 7

**E Block: ** exam on Chapters 1-4

## Bacteri Investigation Information

Here is the investigation document: How quickly can bacteria multiply_LM

## B Block Methods (Day 3) Fri., Dec. 13 — Systems of Lienar Inequalities

**Today: **We finished our study of systems of linear inequalities. You learned the vocabulary: solution, region, solution region, point of intersection, vertex/ vertices, and justify I also informed you that I will not be at your exam, so I hope you paid attention.

**Homework: **Choose one more odd word problem. Choose an odd one so you can check the answer in the back of the book.

**Next Class: **I will see you right before the exam begins.

## E Block Geometry (Day 3) Fri., Dec. 13 — Investigate and Study

**Today: ** You had some time to finish your investigations. Some of you grabbed a study outline. The investigations are due tonight before midnight.

**Homework: **Investigations are due before midnight.

**Next Class:** I will see you for the study session on Thursday. During that time, we will make sure you learned what you were supposed to from the investigation. You iwll also have time to look over past tests.

## C Block Methods A (Day 3) Exponents Review

**Today: **You worked hard to review exponents and answer questions that will help you get ready for the re-test.

**Homework: **Study the worksheet you were working on in class. Hopefully, you have a few more answers you can check. Remember this was information found in Chapter 8 if you need more information.

**Next Class: **I will see you at the exam.

## A Block Algebra 2 (Day 2) Thu., Dec. 12 — Quadratics Practice Test and Review of the Semester

**Today: ** You had the opportunity to see what type of question I will be asking about quadratics. You also received a chart that can be used to guide you as you set up what you need to study and for how long.

**Homework: **Study for your exam.

**Next Class: **I will see you at the exam. We will have time to review before the exam. Think of what questions you have!

## D Block Methods B (Day 2) Thurs., Dec. 12 — Finishing Lienar Inequalities

**Today: **We worked as a class to review some of the systems of linear inequalities word problems you did for homework. Thanks to those of you who stayed on task and asked good questions.

**Homework: **Choose a few more word problems that have answers in the back, so you can check your understanding quickly. Review the examples in the textbook, too.

**Next Class: **The next time I see you, it will be for the exam! Come ask questions if you need to!

## E Block Geometry (Day 2) Thurs., Dec. 12 — Pythagorean Investigation and Semester Review

**Today: **I showed you a good way to set up your review. If you would like a digital copy, here: Geometry Review Sheet

Some of you used the time to finish your investigations.

**Homework: **Either study for your test or review for your exam.

**Next Class: **You will be bale to work after we make sure we understand about the triangles and measures of the sides.

## B Block Methods B (Day 2) Thurs., Dec. 12 — Systems of Lienar Inequalities

**Today: **We talked about how to write a ystem of inequalities, graph it, and … well, that’s all we had time for. We were supposed to be able to think about what the different solutions mean, consider what information we can get from them, and make sure we are staying within the focus of the context of the problem. Maybe next class.

**Homework: **p. 414/ 1, 7, 17; choose two word problems and set them up. If you can graph them and analyze the solutions, go for it.

**Next Class: **We will continue working with systems of linear inequalities.
